这是一个5代历史拥有40公顷教皇新堡产区葡萄园的庄园，主要土壤结构为大片大块鹅卵石，葡萄藤平均年龄70年，最老葡萄藤种植于1892年。教皇新堡在整个罗纳河谷是最为出名的产区，其起源于中世纪欧洲，由于欧洲大瘟疫，罗马教皇避难来到此地，居住了100多年，教皇要喝酒，于是选择了这片土地种植，由此得名。而教皇新堡产区葡萄园大多在山坡顶部，由于古地质此处为海底故土壤全是大块鹅卵石，而葡萄园朝向向南，且面对罗纳河，正是这样的地质条件，造就了教皇新堡的传奇。

With a history of five generations, this chateau covers an area of 40 hectares vineyard in Tresor des Papes. Its soil is composed mainly of big cobblestones, and the average age of grape vine is 70 years old, the oldest one was planted in 1892. Tesor des Papes, originated in middle ages Europe, is the most famous producing area in valle du Rhone. The Roman Pope came here to take refugee from the grand plague in Europe and stayed for over one hundred years. To drink wine, the Pope chose this land for plantation, here comes the name of the area. And most of the vineyards in Pope New Fortress stand on the top of the hills, facing southward, to the Rhone River. In ancient times, this land is the bed of the ocean. Now the soil is composed of big cobblestones. No other than the unique conditions of those vineyards bring up the legend of  CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE.
